Red Carpet regular, Monique Lhuillier also knows a thing or two about the white carpet & she showed collection that, from a fashion standpoint, sets the quality standard each Bridal Week. Her show for Fall 2011 was no exception to this statement as she chose the longest runway in New York to show her bridal vision that had every element of the formula that made her the go to of the Hollywood set, except the color. Styled in a manner that evoked the 1920’s but the dresses were thoroughly modern to the core, she began with a series of shorter pieces the first of which was a shade of tea stained white that was closer to brown than not. It was an interesting choice. Soon the Monique we all love appeared with a series of options that ran the gamut from understated to opulent but never once crossed the proverbial taste boundary. For Fall 2011, if you are in a position to afford a creation of this magnitude, it would be impossible to go wrong with a Monique Lhuillier dress for your special day.
