The Stage
The light & girly collection from Nanette Lepore is always a fan favorite, never cutting edge, yet never disappointing. This season Mrs. Lepore exuded a housewife with style by adding the work apron to her list of inspirations. Pockets were large & able to hold all that the 2010 woman needs. Dresses were flowy & airy with enough bounce to be forgiving & enough structure to be sexy. The color pallet was bold & strong with a dash of glitz, a trend that was not seen too often on the runway this season, but was gladly welcomed! Shades of plum pink and tangerine were fresh & nudes and blushes rounded out the show in looks that are exemplary for any woman looking for a special evening on the town to leave their household duties at home.
