Daniel Silver & Steven Cox tend to vacillate between color & no color, insane mixing in the former, fully monochrome in the later. Their design heads were firmly in the later with every look literally cut from the same fabric head to toe, prints or solids… It mattered not. Proportionally, the ensembles held true for the most part to their recently developed fitted over full, with the exceptions being a loose tunic sort of blouse that was of dressy & casual simultaneously, which is sure to become a staple in the wardrobes of the label’s fans. An early trend of the week , photo real prints, appeared as large, oversized roses printed in several color-ways, & once again only as complete ensembles. There was a certain exuberance missing in this season’s showing, but not enough to warrant undue concern. In looking back now with a few day’s detachment, Spring 2012 was in a word: “Duckie”.
