Avery Fisher Hall
Black and white with a dash of salmon & turquoise was the name of the Rachel Roy game this Fashion Week. Looks were clean with a bit of draping that provide a relief to the body consciousness, while still showing a little bit of curves.
Roy chose to not include much of an evening offering- rather a very wearable ready to wear line-up. A pair of perforated white leather shorts with snakeskin trim was true to this season’s sporty trend & masculine suiting meshed perfectly with modest hems. Some of the strongest stand outs in the collection consisted of timeless bold jacquard knit pieces featuring black and white prints. It goes without saying that Roy certainly knows how to deliver for her fashion fans and more importantly can deliver the mainstream retail market.
