There’s not much that Stefani Greenfield touches that doesn’t turn to gold relatively overnight. There’s not a New York Fashionista on the streets that doesn’t remember how Scoop seemed to appear one day & was literally dominating the entire fashion scene a day later… well, maybe not a day, but you get my point. Now in it’s 3rd year, the “Curations” collection by Stefani Greenfield is a top performer on HSN & encompasses a wide range of offering. But never one to rest on her laurels, Ms. Greenfield has just widened the product assortment a bit more the addition of her “Curations” perfume… another first for her.
So how does one go about selling a new scent on a TV program? Seems like a problem without a solution, but according to Greenfield, it’s not nearly as complicated as it may seem. “Trust is a great deal of the story. It’s very different now & the consumer is no fool,” stated Greenfield in a very matter of fact manner. She went on, “I am their tour guide. If the customer’s not satisfied, they’re never coming back.”
Greenfield went on, “it’s a privilege to make something & have people spend their money on it. We understand this & that’s why we do so well with it.”
The opaque purple packaging & bottle are both very strong statements as is the shape of the actual bottle is reminiscent of a butterfly in shape. This reference is not without intent. According to Greenfield, she is a consummate traveller who “has 10 people I see often & another 200 I see only once a year at best. When I’m there [with these people}, I’m fully there & in the moment. My behavior is like that of a butterfly that just flutters in, catching the passersby by surprise. They do this totally unexpected & bring a feeling of surprise & happiness.”
The scent, which Top Notes of Apricot Blossom, Mandarin & Carnation, Middle notes of Freesia, Neroli & Iris, finishing with Bottom notes of Patchouli, Sandalwood & Amber. It has a floral, but antique quality about it but is fresh & clean enough to prove it is a scent for the hear & now. At only $54.00 for a 1.7 ounce bottle, “Curations” by Stefani Greenfield is accessible enough for the wearer to wear it every day, year round. “Perfume is just another layer, another part of the experience that we all have every day, that of getting dressed,” she said.
