I was introduced to Rolando Santana through a friend a couple of years ago. It is always exciting to discover new talents. His personality won me over and I became an instant fan. This soft-spoken native of Cuernavaca, Mexico is one of the most down to earth young designers I know. It is inspiring to meet someone whose craft seems to occupy every moment of his time. His designs, especially his evening gowns, reflect his ability to cut a pattern just so that the dress will emphasize everything you want while hiding what you don’t want to show. I have been fortunate to wear his creations on a couple of occasions and they always made me feel like the “belle of the ball”. I’m certain that this is only the beginning for Rolando and it shouldn’t be too long until his name is on everyone’s tongue.
