Mr. Birman is to shoes what Nancy Gonzalez is to handbags – EXOTIC!

Taking his inspiration from the film “Tie Me Up, Tie Me Down” by Pedro Almodovar, one of today’s most famous Spanish filmmakers, Mr. Birman’s styles were created with multi straps and knots in supple leathers and luxurious skins such as lizard and python.

Zang Toi brought a decedent feel to the runway with his fall 2013 collection. Being known for luxurious fabrication, fabulous trims, and very little subtlety, Toi seemed to take the theatrics down a notch this season.

Milly’s last SS13 collection brought an 80’s sense from the music playing in the background to the clothing coming down the runway.  For F/W 2013 Michelle Smith, designer and founder of Milly used the urban landscape of NYC with a 90’s vibe as her inspiration.

Japan Leather Goods Development Committee supported by The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry/Strong sponsors different brands that develop product with Japanese leather and aim to enter the global market under the name, Leather Japan.  Unlike Leather Japan’s F/W 2012 presentation that was mainly apparel, for F/W 2013 Leather Japan presented 8 talented designers, 6 accessory brands, and 2 apparel brands.
