Metropolitan Pavilion
90s punk rock is back. Maison de LaCour brought back the grudge glam look for his A/W 2013 collection, at the Metropolitan Pavilion. Male and female models walked to the harsh and heart racing music in red plaid and metal hardware covered garments. A detail on most of the collection garments was the use of silver safety pins.

The Stage @ Lincoln Center
After what seemed an unnecessarily difficult check-in to see one of the most “in demand” shows of the season, I worked my way through a mob of people, and an overcrowded room, to arrive at my seat which was “standing” in the far reaches of the nosebleed section in The Stage @ Lincoln Center.

After a stint as Vice President and PR Director of the luxurious Japanese brand, Foxey, Hanoko Maeda branched out on her own launching her own brand, Adeam, her family name spelled backwards. Sticking to her family’s roots, she uses her family crest in her logo, a plum flower.

Industria Superstudio
Judson Harmon and Jordan Klein launched Odd in 2011 as a menswear collection. For their Fall/Winter 2013 collection nicknamed, “Leviticus” the duo introduced womenswear. The inspiration was drawn by “the discoloration and abstract history of vintage book pages and the wear and tear, often water-stained, texture representing old ideas brought new.”
