I was transported to an exotic journey with a traveling circus of “Gypsies, tramps and thieves”.
Mara Hoffman stayed true to her tribal prints and bold patterns. This season the caravan print intertwines elephants with peacocks in a colorful kaleidoscope; a phoenix print mixes psychedelic zebra stripes with tiny dots, leopard print as well as a beaded leopard can be found onto the back of a chiffon tunic, tail and all. Textiles inspired from Turkey, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, her version comes in two color ways black with turq, pink, orange and yellow or poppy mixed with yellow, white and green. The Trickster print is featured in a uniquely quilted bomber, a flirty strapless dress and pant combo as well as a fully embroidered shift dress.
The collection features amazing ethnic tribal embroideries with gold metal beading, which includes a poncho, a shift dress and skinny pants. Hoffman’s signature chunky knits were strongly represented in pullovers, shawls and cardigans, incorporating the Compass and Rider prints along with jacquards and leopard prints.
This Vibrant collection was gently accessorized with ear-chain necklaces. The silhouettes were both body con and relaxed.
Mara Hoffman achieved her goal to give her girl what she loves most, color, prints and wearable yet unique silhouettes.
