If there were a girl who has a job, likes to do bad things, roam around a train yard, and pick flowers, she would wear Charlotte Ronson, everyday. Charlotte herself was (wo)manning the DJ booth, spinning jams to create an ultra fashion-party-esque presentation. The collection this year, however, set the tone for blue collar meats frivolity. Work wear inspired shirts and jackets, mixed with lace skits, mesh skirts with scalloped edge floral embroidery, and perforated tunics, we’re just a few of this “down to earth, hard working girl” collection.
Minimal dandelion print on a blue ground, zipper details and pastel colds were the meat and potatoes of this collection. It hit every note in the funkiest way possible. Layering as a high note, as well as crew neck knit wear, and knit crew necks on lace tunics with see through panels of scalloped edge lace. Polka dots splashed here and there but overall the collection was cohesive and collected, hence the word collection.
