Celebrating 20 years in the making, Casablanca Bridal presented the SS18 collection at The Altman Building in New York’s Chelsea District. Combining tradition, elegance, & poise three bridal collections were shown. Ivory, Pearl White, & Creams graced the runway this season through Casablanca Bridal, Amare Couture, & Beloved Bridal, which shared common details throughout.
Casablanca Bridal, delivered strong silhouettes & heavy beadwork. Showcasing a mature bride who is stepping into the wedding of which she always dreamed. In the Amare Couture collection, a delicate hand was presented to the audience. Fine quality in tulle, lace, & organza were paired with hand-sewn Swarovski crystal embellishments. For Beloved Bridal, “the youngest sister of the Casablanca Bridal family, provided a light & airy aesthetic” for a young bride who not only knows what she wants but knows herself as well. Simple fabrications & attention to detail, allowed the viewers to focus more on the bride, where the dress is the an added bonus.
In short, the variation in gowns was a pleasure to see. Leaving an impression of what a bride’s special day could be, starting with the dress, from there… the possibilities are endless.
