The Watters bridal show was truly one to see. Broken up into Willowby (The Folklore collection), w•too (At First Sight Collection), and Watters (Ame Soeur Collection), the gowns were a combination of elegance, youthfulness & modern-day fairytale.
Willowby showcased light & airy chiffons, delicate lace, & layers upon layers of tulle on floor length gowns, that accentuated models unique features. Off-White & Creams, were the common color scheme, all the while, vibrant colored floral crowns, lay angelicly on each girl’s head.
The w•too collection took an unexpected turn with a Black & White plaid braid gown gliding down the runway. With a knee length, full skirt dress, in the surprising color of Black soon to follow, w•too graced the runway with traditional bodycon gowns that had floor length veils to match.
To close out the show, Watters gave a fun & playful vibe to their wedding dresses. The gowns shown were traditional silhouettes, but with an added twist. Tea hour hats, small & petite were paired with every White colored gown, while on each hand was a heart shaped clutch or bright Red gloves.
However, the real show stopper was the marriage proposal, to one of the finale models. Audience viewer thought the show was over, until the music changed & a tall man came up opposite side of the runway, took his soon to be financè’s hand & asked for her to marry him. It’s safe to say, this was the highlight of the show & truly memorable way to end an otherwise lovely, but classic format show….
