Legendary European sneaker mainstay Bata is going deep into its archives for Fall 2017 & bringing back the “Hotshot” as part of its ongoing “Bata Heritage” capsule.
The Hotshot - a very lightweight model originally designed in 1972 for the US market – found itself in the 90′s being immortalized by rocker Kurt Cobain who was oft-spotted on & off the stage wearing a tattered version in Red. The sneakers, including one in the color combination favored by the founder of grunge rock himself, are now relaunched, but with some upgraded features for the fall 2017 season to come. It’s difficult to not see the writing on the wall with this launch… instant sneaker cult collectibility status!
Since 1894, Bata has been offering up quality products that embody good value. This philosophy was of vital importance to company founder Tomas Bata & currently management is committed to this same iconic vision going forward. Add to the value proposition the company already delivers on a consistent basis a public proclamation of their commitment to experiment with new manufacturing processes and the most recent technologies, & it is pretty plain to see that the upside potential of Bata within the North American borders is limitless!
