In what was a further extension of a concept launched during the resort shows a few months prior, Angel Sanchez has expanded his 12 piece capsule to 16 pieces for his Spring offering of Sanchez.  This is a strong collection of smart, young looking, but hardly juvenile, day dresses for the ladies who actually “dress” for day.

For Spring 2011, Whitney Pozgay, presented a beach inspired collection with prints & 60′s influences.  Clean lines & shapes allowed the designs to be mixed and matched in various ways; there where black and white tie dye pieces as well as geometric vintage pastel colored prints.

Few designers in America have the reputation that Isaac Mizrahi has for showmanship on the runway.  He set the bar so insanely high with his now iconic “scrim” show that was chronicled in the movie “Unzipped” that it must be a daunting undertaking for him each season to even meet, let alone exceed the expectations of the attendees.

Sarah Roosevelt Park

Located on a quaint block in Chinatown, a city park served as the stage for the ThreeASFOUR show.   The audience was comprised mostly of the downtown Avant Garde set, which proved entertaining for the neighborhood locals watching in amusement from their regular park benches.
