NYFW: Diana Mahrach Couture Fall 2025

775 Views March 2, 2025

This show was more of a happening as opposed to just another runway show. The elegant 3 West Club hosted the event that included a celebrity emcee, Five-time Emmy Award-winning journalist Kristen Thornem. The journalist is the host of the true crime series, MISSING. As emcee, she kept the enthusiastic attendees whooping & clapping from start to finish.

While the clothes shown were not the typical fare New Yorkers typically embrace, Diana Mahrach is a designer who has successfully identified her niche & creates clothing that appeals to them, ensuring their ongoing loyalty. Vivid color is a part of the brand’s DNA. Diana consistently incorporates the vivid colors found in her native Morocco into her eveningwear & special occasion designs.

From scanning the front row, it was evident that Diana Mahrach Couture is a go-to for pageant dressing, no question. Beauty pageant celebrities who favor Diana’s designs include Sthefany Gutierrez who was Miss Venezuela 2017. One of the show’s highlights was when a mini beauty pageant contestant strutted out on the catwalk. She posed & mugged for the cameras in a pale Peach gown complete with a floral tiara & big pageant bow affixed to her right shoulder.

There were also plenty of choices for the ladies who are on the Dubai social circuit; Dubai, is a stronghold for Diana Mahrach Couture. Entrepreneur, SAFA SIDDIQUI – DUBAI BLING STAR, counts on Diana Mahbrach to dress her for her role. One of the best gowns in this category was a slinky semi opaque long sleeve gown with an elaborate monarch butterfly design with its wings tipped in Silver lame. For slightly more conservative clients, there was a slim gown with a dramatic cutaway Burgundy bustier & Black sequin fishtail skirt.

As the finale parade began, a professional singer joined the emcee under the logoed banner and urged everyone to “sing along and party”! The show, while certainly entertaining, also had a philanthropic aspect to it.  The proceeds from the event benefited the New York Women’s Foundation (NYWF), an organization dedicated to advancing gender, economic, & racial justice.

While Diana’s gowns are ideal for beauty contestants & socialites in Dubai, the brand offers plus size dresses as well as customized gowns for just about every special occasion imaginable: engagement parties, prom, graduation, birthdays, baby showers & gender reveals, holiday parties, pageants, & cocktail parties.
