Tenniscore is a trend that is just about as evergreen as a can of tennis balls. It seems as though we crack open a can of pleats, clean whites, and sharp stripes every spring season. Thanks to the stylings of Law Roach for Zendaya’s press tour for Challengers, in theaters April 26, we are getting served up inspiration to dictate our own styling choices as sunnier weather approaches. The tour de force that is the combination of Roach and Zendaya has been feeding us looks all year. The jaw-dropping archived Thierry Mugler look at the ‘Dune: Part Two’ premiere broke the red carpet internet in February, and Roach has continued to step up the game – literally – outfitting Zendaya and the most thematically appealing sporty looks across the ‘Challengers’ press tour.
She kicked off the tour wearing a sparkling custom Loewe gown featuring the silhouette of a player giving a striking serve to the Sydney Premiere on March 26.
In Paris, she wore a 1999 Louis Vuitton by Marc Jacobs in tennis ball green on April 6. On the 10th, she donned a retro 2013 Marc Jacobs checkered shift.
In Rome, she wore a plunging, glittery silver custom Loewe drop waist pleated dress. To pair, her heels featured tennis balls. “Tennis but make it FASHION…” Roach wrote on Instagram.
This week, she wore a classically Thom Browne piece, covered in sequins, and complete with tennis racket motifs.
