Accessible luxury is much ballyhooed, but rarely actually delivered in fashion. However, Celtic & Co., a sustainably sourced, natural fiber based, British brand does just that. The company calls their collection an assortment of “investment styles”, which are all made of natural fibers, predominantly sourced & produced in the UK. They call the collection investment styles as they design each & every piece to last not only seasons but for years to come.
The collection is predominantly focused around outerwear with shearling being the offerings in the category. However, sweaters are noteworthy entrants in the mix with some super covetable styles blending into the collection as a whole, yet possessing enough fashion savvy to easily stand on their own as part of a wearer’s existing wardrobe. Celtic & Co. has a reason to exist & a reason to be celebrated.
The collection also features the brand’s iconic sheepskin boots & slippers, which are both still manufactured in the company’s workshop in Narquay.
Founded in 1990 by Nick & Kath Whitworth, a husband & wife team with a long history in the business before finally landing upon Celtic & Co. in 2012. The company has now grown to be the largest dedicated retailers of sheepskin products in the UK. The Queen has awarded the company with her Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category both in 2018 & 2020. Their fans include the Duchess of Cambridge, Angelina Jolie & Dame Judy Dench to name but a few.
You can get your own piece of Celtic & Co. at the company’s website (both in the UK & internationally) as well as in a small handful of small boutiques.
